The real Anaheim, CA train station
Built in 1923 in Anaheim by Union Pacific Railroad. Nicely restored and now used as a child care center. Union Pacific must have had a large station contruction budget in the early 1920's because they built some very nice stations in California during those years. There are two train stations in the city of Anaheim, a few miles apart. The difference between them is this one is real and the other one is, well, Disneyland! Disneyland station is 27 years younger but has probably served 10 million more passengers in its life.

A Mother's Rose
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY......For all my Flickr friends who are mothers!
These are the new members of our "feathered family". They are also lovebirds but of a different specie called Peachface, obviously because of their peach-colored faces. Both male and female have exactly the same colors, so are the Fischer specie shown below. And although they are both lovebirds (Agapornis), they cannot live together in the same cage, since they are of different species. The breeder said they will kill each other if I put them in the same cage. For my new contacts, pls. click on the ff. to see more of them! Thank you! www.flickr.com/photos/33311000@N00/sets/72157603448770521/

Can anyone guess what this is? Found in my backyard hanging on the fence while doing some yard work. Update: At this time, 12 have commented and lala-Lisa, Pendore and Fongetz were half-way correct about the waterdroplets. It's an old paint brush with waterdroplets! Thank you for your participation!
